March 7, 2007Gotta love this movie! I can't get enough. It's halarious, great, entertaining, and NOT scary in any way.
Oh, and for the record, I don't think Johnny as Willy Wonka looks like Michael Jackson... why do so many people think that? Sheesh... -

January 9, 2007I love Johnny Depp and this version was really deep compared to the original. You can't compare the two as far as meaning, because they were totally different as far as meaning goes. I truely enjoy johnny in all that he does!!Charlie and the Choclate Factory was really good, where Willie Wonka was just as good for the meaning of its content. thumbs up to both in each indiviual way!

December 23, 2006Being a big fan of Johnny Depp I enjoyed charlie and the Chocolate factory. I know a lot of people didn't like it though. They prefer the first movie.... The one where the Oompa loompers are all cute and happy...In this movie, it's a lot more sinister... Actaully more like the book. This film shows Roald dahl's dark side...He didn't actually like children that much. I do think johnny does look like a woman unfortunately! But it adds to the effect. The whole movie was dreamlike... Quite scary actually! Unlike the first movie, I think some children would find it disturbing.
