Lovely graphical representation but Willy Wonka executed his role in a rather sinister fashion.(In a sense an admirable characterisitic of Depp's to add depth to his role) Not as light hearted as the Roald Dahl book, and rather ominous associations and insinuations pervading the play in relation to Willy Wonka and his childhood.

I like this one with Johnny Depp in, its better than the first one and Johnny Depp is good looking aswell, lol.
I gave it the one star, because the movie was more true to how Roald Dahl wanted Willy Wonka, the factory, and the overall story and feel to be portrayed. He wanted Wonka to be dark and freaky, not a nice, predictable man. Other than that and the fact that I like weird, dark, creepy and twisted stuff, this movie was bad. Burton's worst, and I reall y love Burton.

I'm not a fan of Johnny Depp, but I loved his portrayal of Willy Wonka in this film. Some people may have hated this version, but I think it did justice to Roald Dahl's novel.
