Born in 1943 Britain, at the height of the Second World War, Celia Sandys grew up with a unique status: she was the granddaughter of British prime minister Winston Churchill, and not yet 18 when he died. The two shared innumerable experiences together, including extensive travels to exotic locales, one of Churchill's three undying passions.
