Every time I watch this movie I laugh. Just the interplay between Eugene Levy and Steve Martin is worth it.

This is a great family movie. In this movie it is about a family with 12 kids. They have a lot of up's and down's.

What would I want to watch a flat remake of a movie that was only mediocre in it's original iteration?

fun family film, I would have enjoyed it more if Bonnie Hunt had a few more scenes, that women is hilarious. As for the story yeah its not very believable but its a kid film and it harbours a strong moral, so plant the kids in front of this one, it'll keep the entertained for a while at least

I wouldn't recommend this film. It's not that funny, I mean I like Steve Martin, but I wouldn't add this in my movie collection.

I saw the 1950 version on Film 4. The 1950's film looked pretty good, I'll have to give this one a go :)

A very bad remake. I kept thinking through the movie that thoes kids need to be beaten. No discipline at all. I hated this movie. It was an insult to the original and the lucille ball remake. This show lacked structure and a real story. Worst movie ever I want my cable bill repaid for the time ill never get back. Worst ever. Sucked sucked sucked. How dare they do that to a classic!

I hadn't really been interested in seeing this film - Not that I don't usually enjoy Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt. The tale just seemed cliche and to me Hillary Duff's presence pretty much sums up the quality of the movie.

I was a little wrong. Hilary is annoying, but bearable. And I am almost embarrassed to say that this film is a guilty pleasure. There is something... charming and sweet about it. Sure, it's nothing new. And perhaps I'm a sentimental old fool, but I thought it was okay. Nightmarish big family, but okay, haha. I felt exhausted for them just watching.

I'm surprised Bonnie Hunt hasn't gotten much recognition over the years. She always gives solid performances and is delightful on screen.

LOL! Really hard to get a helper. I like the part when Tom was talking about his son's frog, Beans, he said,"he hipped...and hopped...he loved hip-hop."!!!

I am just such a sucker for a big family, so this is one of the ultimate feel-good films for me. Steve Martin is undeniably annoying and the film could well have concentrated a little more screentime on the kids and much less on embarrassing itself with Martin's appalling attempts at humour. However this film changed my mind about Bonnie Hunt- she is a good actress and gives a very realistic performance. A totally silly but adorable family comedy about a phase of difficulty for a football coach, his writer-in-the-making wife, and their twelve children. Cute as hell...

A very likable family comedy. Steve Martin plays the father you hate to love and Ashton Kutcher plays the annoying boyfriend you love to hate.

Funny! Of course the movie is famous because of the 'famous' actors but the other ones have a bigger role I think..

Very good family comedy. I just adore Steve Martin in this type of role. More roles like this should be created for him.

Steve Martin is very good as playing a father figure, and one that is in competition with another family nonetheless! Very cute movie and good comedy:)

Hilary was still cute looking here...Tom Welling was great as usual. Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt make a great comedy couple and the kids were all so cute..

The epitomy of vile and American 'family humour'. Hate is not a passionate enough word to describe this thing.
