A good family comedy. Steve Martin and all of the kids bring out a handful of laughs, more than I anticipated. I wasn't expecting a lot from this movie, but I was pleasantly surprised by it's heart.
believe it or not, this movie was actually enjoyable. a great light family comedy, which can certainly be refreshing from all the modern "gross-out" shock comedies.
Um... this movie was so freakin annoying... so was that other one with all the freakin kids... your mine and ours... who wants to watch a bunch of dumb annoying kids run around... not even funny!!!! (Sorry Maya if you liked this one... We hardly like any of the same movies!!!!)
Because of my Smallville predilictions, I wanted to see what else Tom Welling could do. Um, yeah...not much else. Guess Steve Martin needed to pay rent that month...
Poor Steve Martin. He's got a world of comic value and experience under his belt, and instead of putting it to use, he's thrown in to cheap remakes of old films that had unexciting premises to begin with.
This was a good movie!! Have seen it thousands of times but it is still good..however the funnyness dies down soon. there are some boring bits but overall a great kiddy movie..
The only things this film has in common with the book it gets it's name from are the title and the fact that the couple have 12 kids. And they are all pretty bratty.
Any film that co-stars Ashton Kutcher and Tom Welling has to be worth watching, even though their roles are relatively small. They have to be small because it's a big family--12 kids plus boyfriend Kutcher. I usually love Steve Martin in films and this one is no exception. If you don't mind loads of annoying kids, it's worth watching.
