Plus one gold star for it is based on a true story so it does show the way the students really felt about it. It was interesting to watch, I only hoped they would see the wrong that they did and feel sorry. Instead they were proud and saw that as the way the world works. That doesn't make it right or mean it's the best way though. This movie was originally aired on HBO.
Inspired by real events, this is a great story about the presure that kids have in school, and how by cheating they have the chance to be the best there is and how they fall to the temptation , this is a good movie all around, great performance, good sountrack, really good direction, really entertaining.... A must see
Surprisingly good film inspired by real events, an acid social critique of both the media and the education system. Jeff Daniels can be very good in the right roles.
I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this one. Almost a portrait of modern day life where everything is alright as long as you wind up on top.
