Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"Characters need to be more than vehicles for making a point, and a genuinely heartfelt tone is only partial compensation for an inability to convey the complexity of ideas."
‑ Jeannette Catsoulis, New York Times
"If there were any faults in this movie, Margaret Laurena Kemp's performance redeemed every moment. All I could think was - why haven't I heard of this woman before?"
‑ Clay Cane,
"Contrasts the emotional storm raging within a suicidal artist with the picture-perfect, travelogue background of its tropical island locations..."
‑ John Beifuss, Commercial Appeal (Memphis, TN)
