While she is having a weekend with her girlfriends, documentary film crews interview the parents. The film was made for television, but earned a theatrical release after winning some film festival awards. ~ Perry Seibert, Rovi

‑ Leslie Camhi, Village Voice
"The acting ... is strong, and there are several moments of painful truth -- the wordless weekend hand-overs are well done and difficult to watch."
‑ Ken Fox, TV Guide's Movie Guide
"A powerful drama that turns a common event -- the rending of a family -- into an intimate, personal affair."
‑ Elizabeth Weitzman, New York Daily News
"A disconcerting faux-documentary that nonetheless offers some subtle truths about growing up with divorced parents."
‑ Joshua Tanzer, Offoffoff
"Geoffrey Enthoven's dour little pseudo-documentary explores the effect of divorce on three children."
‑ Stephen Holden, New York Times
"An unforgettable testament to children whom the adults ostensibly despair of but are incapable of seeing."
‑ Maria Garcia, Film Journal International
