  Not great but towards the end it veers into so bad it's good territory, backing up my theory that the third film in most horror franchises is the better film but for all the wrong reasons. Some decent gore here though, the 'extended spine' scene was particularly fun. If I'm being totally honest, it was trying to work out where I'd seen Michael Ensign before that kept me interested throughout. It was Ghostbusters by the way.

  Third entry is a good horror film that uses every horror cliché to its advantage to create an entertaining horror film. This third entry is a film designed purely to satisfy the most diehard horror fan and it works. You get the blood, the gore and the scares. Children of the Corn 3: Urban Harvest may not be a perfect entry in the series. This entry has enough going for it to make it a worthy third entry to the original film. I very much enjoyed the kills here, and the story was entertaining and well constructed. There's an effective creepy story at work here, and for the most part, it succeeds. There are things that could have been improved, but this is a good sequel nonetheless and it delivers effective horror with plenty of blood and gore. The film has a good script, and unlike some of the other sequels, this film is quite fun to watch, and will delight horror fans. There are plenty of good horror elements at work here, and I don't know why this film wouldn't appeal to a horror fans, as this film uses every horror cliché in a creative manner to create a fun, entertaining and creepy horror film that should be seen by fans of the original Children of the Corn. Urban Harvest is a fun, entertaining third sequel in the Children of the Corn series. Fans will surely enjoy this film and despite its imperfections, the film is still a must watch for fans of the series.

  <i>Almost</i> worth watching just for the debut appearance of Nicholas "Xander" Brendon, playing a member of a basketball team and given about two lines and three minutes screen time. Almost.

  The third in the series based on Stephen Kings creepy short story takes plce in the city this time. Two bothers who have mysteriously lost their parents get taken in by foster parents but we, and they, find out theres more going on with one of the boys than first meets the eye. Yes, it seems he has been taken over by the devilish thing thats been making kids mental since the first one. Again, a few creepy moments and jumpy bits plus some gore, the most yet actually, make this bearable but it gets a bit stupid towrds the end. Apparantly theres 7 or 8 of these. Just the three would have been a more sensible option, i think.
