one of my favorite horror movies from the 80's i have soo many big time horror fan are you.
Children possessed? maybe, but basically under the teaching of the preachers son they kill all adults and nearly kill a passing couple who just need somethin to eat & some gas as they pass through!
It had a good concept and I bet the book was more cohesient. The movie was just a bit too random for me. And I would like to see the story evolve in the movie so I don't need to it on the back of the DVD case. That just pisses me of. You should never need to read about the movie ...( read more)
based on the story by stephen king. and so people say i do look like character issac(play by john franklin)cause of my face *blushes* so anyway i do enjoying anything movie with stephen king and he the best author i guess. this movie is very creeping something in gatlin, nebraska...( read more)
IT IS MY FAVORITE MOVIE EVER! And I have herd that John Franklin (Isaac)
has a growing hormone. BTW John Franklin (Isaac) is sexy!
Outlander, outlander we have your woman! isn't that like the greatest line in this movie
Wow...I am certain that I have never seen worse acting. The last time I checked, this was supposed to be a horror movie. However, this crap fest lacked substance and the scariest thing about it was a rat in the coffee shop. If this movie is on TV or you happen to pass it in a vide...( read more)
Out of all the sequels and remakes that have come before the original, this one still seems to remain its best of them all.
Director Fritz Kiersh (Tuff Turf) takes one of Steven Kings best Novels and gives us a fretful scare leading John Franklin (Isaac) as the oddly mesmerizi...( read more)
pretty good. tame tho i thought. i loved the hunky dory ending then the slight scare then the real ending
Gave this another look for the review of the Blu-ray release.
The film has enormous plotholes, but as far as a fun 80's horror flick goes, this isn't a bad way to go. Stephen King's early adaptations always seem hit or miss, and I'd say this one was more hit than miss, but ju...( read more)
it was good movie hrorr and it was really scary if dare wacth again yes bet on it good tv movie
Gave me nightmares when i was younger. You'll never look at a cornfield again the same.
I didn't really enjoy this at all. In fact this film seems to have a legendary type of reputation in the horror genre and I don't understand why. It had some creepy moments but the main villain was never full explained and what was up with that ending?? They just start walking...( read more)
Awesome movie this was when stephan King really freaked me out.If you like this try checking out the Mist not to be confused with the Fog which is total crap.
how many of these are there? and which one has an old lady lose control of her wheelchair?
A typical Stephen King movie. Good overall, the ending was a little bit dissapointing and some scenes went out for too long though.
my sister was darn scared of this when we were kids. understandable for kids, but quite silly for adults to be scared of this one.
Quintessential 80 horror, I can't really say this is a good movie, but for a kid from the 80's and a Stephen King fan it's a must see. "Lord of the Fly's" meets a midwestern town, then add in Linda Hamilton, good times.
Scary kids. The book was better and the movie could have been so great.
At first I thought: ok, not bad. Then it shifted to the ridiculous side when it wasn't about crazy kids anymore. Isaac was creepy and funny at the same time.
