  The first Childs Play was gripping, and some of the horrific scenes added to the sick, and violent mind of the doll called Chucky. This is just the same, thats why its so good. A real treat for all Childs Play lovers, Chucky remains the horrific, gory doll that he has always been!

  Play Pals Toys have taken the remains of Chucky and are rebuilding it in an attempt to understand what went wrong. But then an electrical fault causes Chucky to return to life. Chucky then sets about tracking down Andy Barclay, who has been fostered out to Phil and Joanne Simpson...( read more), so that he can transfer his soul into Andy's body. This proves more difficult than anticipated and Chucky has to start killing the people who get in his way. The climax with Chucky pursuing people through the factory and being variously impaled in a stamping press, melted with hot wax and finally blown up with an oxygen pump, is highly entertaining.
  
  Chucky: "Why fight it, Andy? We're going to be very close. In fact, we're gonna be fucking inseparable."
  
  Kevin Yagher creates a much more versatile and convincing Chucky doll this time around. Though the film does suffer from a few lulls here and there, Child's Play 2 is a surprisingly effective sequel that's sure to please fans of this ongoing series.
