Not a great adaptation from Carpenter but then it is one of the most overrated books of all time. Quotable but not scary.

There are no words that can truly describe the power and passion of Christine.

Stephen King adaptations either hit or miss. Carpenter's took a couple of swings at directing Kings work. This one misses. It is too middle of the road to be scary.
