This has been my favorite movie for many years now, I love the lightness to it, Barbara Stanwyck is perfectly cast and excellent, the supporting cast is outstanding. Very funny, warm and wonderful.

Maybe if it were written by a much punchier dialogue-y writer this one might've fared better. Oh Babs is smashing and Dennis Morgan is dreamy and the concept is fun and the basic plot is cool... but the jokes are too flat and at the end of the day for a Christmas movie only mildl...( read more)
