Critic Reviews

  • Walter Chaw, Film Freak Central

    Garbage--fetid and painful.

  • John J. Puccio, Movie Metropolis

...if you like the strip and the anime, you'll probably like the movie as well. Everyone else, beware.

  • Fred Topel, About.com

Bad Jackie Chan movie. It's not his style of fighting. He tries to do an anime adaptation but there's nothing for him to do.

  • KJB, IGN Movies

Supposedly an adaptation of the popular Japanese animated series, it fails as an adaptation but succeeds as a fun Jackie Chan flick. The fight sequence where Chan becomes characters from the Street Fighter video game are not to be missed.

A comedy based on a Japanese manga of the same name. The fight scenes are pretty good and makes good use of the surrounding props. Have a lots of gratuitous gunfire, shooting and beating up people, but somehow, no blood or very minimal blood is lost.
