    While this film is pretty much a "T.V. movie of the week" that somehow managed to get itself on the big screen but in all honesty it actually wasn't too bad. Whoopi Goldberg and a young Neil Patrick Harris (who made his film debut here) both give really good performances and there are some nicely written scenes.

    The accents make this film have a little more humor than it should. But the story is good. Whoopi is great and the Neil Patrick Harris played a very complex kid.

    Clara's Heart was quite a good movie, it wasn't exciting enough to be considered great, but it was good to see how the story unfolded.

    NPH as a troubled child in a family in the process of divorce...Clara comes and saves the child from utter disdruction and reclusiveness.

    Brown skin gril stay home and mind the baby, brown skin girl stay home and mind the baby, im goin away on a sailing ship and if i don't come back, stay home and mind the baby. I used to love this movie when i was a kid. i should watch it again to really understand all tha twent on.

    I didn't really care for Whoopi as an actress until I saw this movie. Very moving and the lady has range in her acting
