Great film!! Excellent performances by Ed Harris and of course Sammy Jackson just shines in everything he does! Cool twisty little murder,who done it flick here,Defintely recommending this one.=)

like this movie. I recommand that you see it.
Tom Carver (Samuel L. Jackson, Hard Eight) is a cleaner, though not the type that'll wash your socks. He has one of the most gut-wrenching jobs on the planet: cleaning up the remains of death, whether it is natural, suicide, or homicide. He's not some kind of morbid freak, however, who gets off on scraping gore from the walls. Carver is a single father and an ex-cop who quit his corrupted force and tries to help people this way. One day, Tom is hired by the force to clean up a homicide and, in doing the thorough job that only he can, realizes that he may have eliminated evidence vital to the case. His sense of justice rising anew, Tom becomes embroiled in a conspiracy that may go all the way to the top of the force. Harlin admittedly does a nice job of infusing Cleaner with an appropriately understated sense of style, something that's reflected in Jackson's low-key performance, Harris, on the other hand, is just as intense and over-the-top as one might've hoped. Cleaner is ultimately just one of those movies that, though generally free of outwardly negative attributes, remains strangely uninvolving for much its running time.
i really thought this movie will be amazing with Jackson and Harris in it,but it turns out to be a big dissapointment. An average and a very slow mystery film, at the beginning seems pretty interesting but the ending was very dissapointed,and the plot was not strong enough,i was expecting some action thriller..but nothing special abt it..
i thought this film was very well done had a great plot to it and the actors that starred in it did a great job very much worth seeing you'll be surprised at the ending
This movie had such an amazing start, it went straight into suspense, I actually thought it would have a very amazing plot with twists.
However I was pretty wrong. Whereas plot wasn't too bad, it was mysterious and all, but it was also very confusing and I still did not get all of it.
This movie has a brilliant start and gradually gets worse and worse towards the end. Don't expect much from this, it's just an average thriller and that's all.
Just your basic murder mystery where they guy's a suspect while trying to find the real killer. I liked the way this was put together though. I think it's the best Sam L. has made in awhile. Plus he had a pretty good supporting cast too, mainly Ed Harris. A lot of people probably haven't heard of it, but I recommend it to be a good watch.
Once again Ed harris delivers a magnificent performance.. He's absolutely the best thing about the movie, at least to me !!
I thought the whole "cleaner" thing was a really interesting concept for a movie and was handled very well..
Not a big fan of Eva Mendes but it works, she was good..
Great movie. Interesting story plot that follows the day in the life of an ex-cop-turned-crime scene cleaner who one day realizes that the mess he is cleaning also includes him and his entire private world. It's good to see more ventures from Renny Harlin. Good cast- Samuel L. Jackson and Ed Harris.

Suspenseful...mesmerizing and unimagineably realistically good... but slow. Samuel l. Jackson was good in this movie with help from Ed Harris. See this and appreciate it.
very good story.... Samuel L. Jackson was very strong... he played a very challenging roll and played it well .. I won't give up anymore info on the film.... but if u do watch it... see how the entire movie unfolds... and how thingz become rather unfair..
First, Samuel L. Jackson. Not much more needed to make me watch. Second, I found myself caught up in this film as the plot unravelled and all the secrets were brought to light. Ex-cop turned crime scene cleaner, Tom Carver (Jackson) finds himself caught up in a murder cover-up and seeks the help of his ex-partner portayed by Harris. What unfolds is a web of secrets, twists and turns that will keep you guessing as to who the bad guys and good guys really are. A must see for any Jackson fan!
Tres beau look avec beaucoup de macros et de montage jump cut, mais qu'on retrouve seulement au début du film, comme si le monteur avait change ou que le concept n'etait pas assume jusqu'au bout. Ce style de decoupage n'apporte d'ailleurs pas grand chose a l'intrigue puisqu'on s'attend à plus de consequences sur ce qu'on voit en gros plan alors que parfois ce ne sont que des inserts pour faire des inserts. Cote histoire, rien de reinvente, mais c'est quand meme interessant de suivre les peripeties sur qui est finalement bon et mechant. Et de suivre un nettoyeur de scene de crime, c'est plutot different comme idee de depart.
The movie is good with excellent acting. The plot was too predictable, and i had it figured out well before the ending. Interesting concept though for a movie and Jackson's and Harris's characters are both interesting.
A good solid thriller. Jackson is convincing as the father protecting his daughter and there is a very touching scene where a row between them is followed up by his own perfume memory moment (you need to see it!) but the story wasn't hard to figure out. Ed Harris is his usual self but his part doesn't give him a lot of scope to really go for it.
Quite liked the film - I thought the beginning was slow, and then everything seemed to happen all of a sudden. The film itself is very different. Samuel.L.Jackson cleans crimes scenes ... and thats all I'm saying =]
Ok who dunnit - Samuel L Jackson cleaning up gory death scenes. Lots of detergent, mops and brushes. But good twists in the plot. Eva Mendes is gooood!
A thriller with all the ingredients you need for a good movie, great story, cool scenes and good actors (Ed Harris and Samuel L Jackson). The movie has scenes very similar with the TV show CSI and they are really authentic. Have to give a plus for the sexy Eva Mendes, not for her performance but for her looks :-)
Thought this one was a good little thriller, protrayed in a different sort of light. I loved the idea, but left a few different holes open.
Is it possible for Samuel L. Jackson to have a bad movie? He can make any role become amazing. Ex-cop turned crime scene cleaner was something different for him. Not a big Mendes fan, but thought she played an okay role in the small role. Loved Ed Harris in this movie!!
Good twists, somewhat slow, but all works out in the end! Worth the time.
