It's hilarious and heartfelt with a great message: Slow down and take life as it is.

Adam Sandler wants to have diversity in his acting talents evident by more serious roles in Punch Drunk Love (excellent), Spanglish (bullshiz), and Click (probably somewhere in between). It is not as crafty as Punch Drunk Love, and does not entirely suck like Spanglish. Sandler...( read more) acts serious in moments of Click in a well fashion. The movie also maintains its primitive silly humor of Sandler's old films. It's an amalgamation of Sandler's desired range and for the most part the movie succeeds.

Click is about an over worked architect (Adam Sandler) clawing his way toward a promotion who ends up being given a remote control by a guy named Morty (Christopher Walken) at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. What's so special about this remote is that it allows the user to pause, fast for...( read more)ward, rewind, etc, the events of said users universe not without drastic consequences to himself and his family.

Click is your basic Sandler film in a career that fluctuates between doing a low brow R rated comedy to a PG-13 heartfelt film that is pseudo family oriented. Once again Sandler plays Sandler as an unbelievable family man. The thing about Sandler's films is that they repeat the same jokes over and over just with different punchlines. There are a few funny parts and the film tries to jerk a tear but it ends up being a below average farce.

Reasonable Sandler effort, better than usual and quite a moving story pops up out of nowhere, the last 30min nearly brought me to tears I gotta admit very sad, makes you think and is totally unexpected for Sandler. Michael Newman: "I guess when you combine mass quantities of cough syrup with yodels... you get acid."

On the surface, Michael Newman seems to have it all, yet with all the demands forced upon him by his ungrateful boss Ammer, Michael finds that setting aside time to spen...( read more)d with his loving wife, Donna, and two picture-perfect children, Ben and Samantha, has grown increasingly difficult. When a frustrating bout with the television remote leads the overworked husband and father to a nearby Bed, Bath & Beyond in search of a universal remote with the power to control all of his electronic devices, a curious peek into the back room leads Michael into the company of eccentric employee and talented inventor Morty. It seems that Morty has created a device that will not only allow Michael complete control over his television and stereo, but his entire life as well. As Michael discovers that the remarkable device has the power to muffle the barks of the family dog, zoom himself past an irritating quarrel with his wife, and even allow him to travel back and forth through time to different points in his life, the rush of being able to skip straight to the good parts in life soon leaves him feeling as if he's missing out on the total experience. Only when Michael begins to realize that the he has lost control of his life and the remote is now programming him does he finally learn that life is as much about the moments he'd rather forget as it is the moments he will always remember.

It's good to see a movie that is just as heart-touching as it is funny, and starring Adam Sandler, nonetheless. Click is definitely worth seeing and even worth buying, as long as you're a Sandler fan. This movie really puts things in perspective when it comes to enjoying the moment, regardless of how significant (or insignificant) it may seem at the time. Great acting from the whole cast, as well as Sandler's old buddies hidden throughout the film, can you spot them all? This is a possible spoiler; take a good look at the head Arabian businessman, does he look familiar? What about the other Arabians, have you seen them in other Adam Sandler movies? You probably have! All in all, this is a wonderful movie and a guaranteed good time. Rent or buy this one today, you'll be glad you did!

Click is one of my favourite movies. The story is predictable of course, but I don't mind that. The ending is so beautiful. And the message is very clear of course. If you like good movies, you definitely have to see this one. Adam Sandler did a great job I think.

Sandler has a knack for these goofy stupid/stupid funny movies that are garbage, but somehow nonetheless make tons of money. Not every movie he's made is like that, but Click, Anger Management, & 8 Crazy Nights totally sucked ass!
