Just read the above on IGN.com. I wonder if this could actually be the final title. -

September 3, 2007i heard all they know so far on the news is is that its made by jj abrams and coming out jan 18 2008 i gotta c it when i saw transformers and saw this trailer i was like DUDE!!! WE GOOOOOOTTTA see it!!! and its NOT a day after tomorrow sequel adn its like not really a suquel to godzilla but it sounds like it alot!!! i heard another rumor that it lives underneath the sea....so idk!!!! i have to see it!!!!

Personally cloverfield seems like a better name...
It isn't as dated as 1-18-08....
I need to see this movie,if it were to be a Day after tommorrow sequel the monster would have to have been awoken from a slumber under an ice cap,or it would have been trapped in an ice cave or something...
The movie trailer looks really great,although I hated Blair witch I must say the handheld camera in one of the actors hands made it better,maybe we get to see the monsters...
I think we'll see them like this:
At least one of the 4 main peoplewould be hiding in a building...There would be screams from outside and explosions from farther away...
The cameraman would look out the window and record the monsters running through the city and taking paople down..He'd zoom in on a person being mauled by one or two monsters...
That's how i think we'll first see the monsters in the film... -

Ive been around loads of forums and on some theres a thread talking about "Cloverfield". People want to know so despratly what thing can cause an explosion like that and rip the statue of liberties head off and throw it a distance. I'm betting dragon. But what i feel the most is that it dosent matter what is causing this havoc. It looks, sounds and feels like its going to be a film for the ages.
(P.S the film poster has similarities to the film cover of "The Day After Tomorrow". Could this film possibly be a sequal?) -

July 24, 2007i honestly must say, they should keep the movie title's name to be 1-18-08 to keep its mysteriousness to it. i'm gonna be one of the first people to see it because i wanna know what the hell it is. but they could just be building up suspense onto it and closer to its release date, they might give is more information about it. also, on their site they could be adding one picture from a scene every week. it looks really good, sounds very interesting, and i'm gonna wait for the day that 1-18-08 (or cloverfield) comes out!
