A movie based off the board game. A group of people are gathered at a huge creepy old mansion for dinner and more than they came for. This mystery comedy is only good if you are familar with the board game.
absolutely hilarious. tim curry is so amazing it's ridiculous. he makes this movie. i couldn't even imagine it without him. it's amazing to watch the story unravel, & i love the 3 separate endings, but of course the last one was the best. i kind of suspected that tim curry was mr. boddy, & i was right! he owned. christopher llyod & madeline kahn were also fabulous.
A very fun movie to watch. I was kind of surprised that a decent movie was made out of a board game. Too bad this coulnd't be done with video games. Quite and ensemble cast that really help make this enjoyable.
Fue hace muchos años que vi por primera vez esta película, pero hasta el día de hoy me hace reir como ninguna otra. Los diálogos son rápidos, inteligentes y muy propios para lo que se intenta hacer. Los finales alternativos son de lo mejor y los personajes... clásicos. Además, crear una película tan buena de un juego de mesa en verdad que tiene su mérito. Consíguela y ríete durante toda la película, la vas a disfrutar.
While Clue may not seem to be all that great in the early goings, as the plot thickens the comedy ensues. When it finally reaches the end and Wadsworth (Tim Curry) explains how he found out who killed everybody, it gets even better and with three possible endings, you get a different ending every time!
Great movie. Great for family or to watch with special sumone just to break the ice. Can't really go wrong wih this. Very funny. Don't say no until you try it. Another great one is Jane Austen's Mafia! made in 1998
This is one of my favorite movies and always remindes me of my high school friends. We must have watched it thousands of times. I know it wor for word.
[Wadsworth has just greeted Mr. Green at the door] Wadsworth: [to the dogs] SIT. [Mr. Green quickly and nervously sits down on a bench] Wadsworth: No, not you, sir.
The cast was great and all the characters seemed to fit the roles. But the story was just not done right. I mean wrapping up a game of clue in 2 hours you should have enough time to make a decent movie out of it. So decent, yes it was. Amazing, I am sorry to say no. I would just like to say that Tim Curry's part was crazy.
After playing the game for years, they decided to make a movie out of it. And boy did they do an excellent job. It kep tyou on your toes because you have to pay close attention as to who was the killer.
If you love the board game, you will love this movie based on the game that comes not with one ending but 3...question is, who is the "real killer"????
A LOT BETTER than i thought it would be. I was extremely skeptic at the idea of a film version of a board game, but i was proven wrong and i loved Clue.
I would have had no idea how to make a movie out of a board game, but this one worked. It's jam packed with originality and hilarious innuendos. The humor is very subtle, but it still makes the movie extremely enjoyable.
