College is your typical drunken party movie, with the underdogs getting revenge. If you have seen Van Wilder, PCU, Revenge Of The Nerds, and Animal House you know this movie.
The story was tired and used up, been there done that, seen that a thousand and one times. But, this mov...( read more)ie did provide some entertaining moments and was funny.
The Cast was interesting. Kevin Covais, yes the geek from American Idol, was amusing to watch. Drake Bell from Nickelodeon's Drake and Josh, is all grown up now and trying his hand at real movies. Nothing like going from tween shows to a college beer fest to prove you are a real grown up. I got a real kick out of Andrew Caldwell in this. His role of Carter made this movie more tolerable to watch. He was very funny, kind of a young cross between Seth Rogan and Jonah Hill, with a little weird Andy Milonakis thrown in for good measure. I kept waiting for him to say " I rock peas on my head" for some strange reason.
You aren't going to get some life changing lesson by watching College, or even wax intellectual about it's Oscar worthy performances with your friends. But, you will be entertained and even have a few laughs.

It has your typical crude humor. More towards the male audience with their fantasy world of "college".

You've seen it all before, done better. Every cliche is there, every moment you presume will be there exists. The outcome is exactly what you think it is. Recommended only for college movie completists or T&A fans (there's more plastic on display than at IKEA).

Not as bad as you might think. It's certainly not particularly intellectual (or original), but it's got fun moments. Just think of it as another in the ongoing American Pie series.

It also gets bonus points for having high school seniors and college kids that actually l...( read more)ook their age, rather than having 27-year-old high school kids.
(and a surprisingly competent performance by ex-American Idol contestant Kevin "Chicken Little" Covais)
