A good doc. Orny Adams is a worrying bitch, he makes me not want to worry ever again. Seriously, if anyone wants to make it in entertainment should watch this and take "Barry"s advice - relax. It was cool to see the community of comedians calming down a legend. I enjoyed it even though I wanted to see what happened to Adams - hopefully, failure.
I thought this was a very interesting watch. Seinfeld a comedian who is trying to get back into the groove of being a stand-up comic. There are plenty'O cameos from fellow comics. There is also another comic called "Orny Adams" who is an up and coming comic who is a complete asshole. There is no other way to describe him. It was interesting to see his story as well. It has a couple good jokes there to keep you entertained a neat insight.
Adoro qualquer coisa que o Seinfeld faça. Sou fã. Mas vou dizer que aguentar o outro comediante, Orny Adams, é difícil. Chaaato demais. Vale a pena pra ver o Jerry de uma nova forma... Interessante.
Nice documentary about what really goes into performing a stand-up act. Especially now that Jerry buried his old material and has to start with new jokes. Jokes that he really don't trust yet and is struggling with confidence.
You should really see the Seinfeld stand-up "I'm Telling You for the Last Time" before see this as it gives a nice perspective of where everything starts.
Naturally, I'm going to completely love this documentary because Jerry Seinfeld is a genius. Not only is it funny, but it is filled with a bunch of other comedians (Bill Cosby, Chris Rock, Gary Shandling, etc.) that assist the making of this film. Comedian shows real insight to the art of comedy. After watching and listening to the reactions of Jerry and Orny, I understand their point-of-views about how difficult it is to make people laugh. But, they don't want the audience to JUST laugh. Comedians want more reactions so that they can establish respect.
O mestre do humor. Seinfeld conta com umas participações especiais e faz uma correria por aí neste documentário, tudo pra mostrar os bastidores do stand up. Do caraleo.
This documentary had some interesting moments but I'm not sure I'd recommend it to most people, expecially not fans of the show Seinfeld. This has absolutely nothing to do with it. I think most viewers might end up disappointed or even bored by this movie. I enjoyed the perspective into the world of stand-up comedy that I'd never seen before.
You know... Seinfeld should have stayed away longer... i know this came out in like 2001 and had one of the funniest trailers i'd ever seen... but it just wasn't funny... he needed to really work on his stand up more before he came out with a movie
A solid piece about two comedians at the complete opposite end of the spectrum; Jerry Seinfeld and Orny Adams (who?). Only for the most diehard of Seinfeld fans (seeing Jerry swear and vear away from his some what clean image on tv). A must see for anyone who wants to make it in the world of comedy.
Has some insight but filmmakers seem unsure as to what kind of docu they're making: one about the hard ship of making it in the business or of Jerry Seinfeld, becoming a subject of neither in the end.
