This movie is very disappointing.
Conjurer means a witch right?
I think there's not so much explanation about the witch. I mean, the whole story lack of explanation and the shots are just about the 'scary hut' outside their (the casts) house. And this movie isn't scary at all. A...( read more)

Not bad at all for a little film, though not a completely original storyline. Nice camera work.

A decent low-budget film, Andrew Bowen(Shawn Burnett) is believable and made this film a easy view. Nothing new, but what is anymore ?

It makes up for ok mystery and suspense but wasnt that scary. At least I wasnt entirely lost either with the mysterious plot. Nice that it had a few freaky and strange images but that ending was not pleasing at all.

this is a small indie flick that I saw when it was announced to play at Slamdance film festival next week. It's a bit slow but very well done. It does not try and be some Asian retread or a lot of jump cuts and noise. It has very little gore and a spooky creepy vibe that playe...( read more)

January 15, 2009If you like your spooky movies low on blood and more creepy and gothic...this is very good especially for a little indie flick. It might be a bit slow in the beginning and there are a few things that have been done many times before but it's much better than a lot of the major studio Asian retreads and gore porn and CGI garbage that aint scary. We always like to support indie movies that are going for something intelligent and quality and this succeeds on such a tiny budget very well.
