Bloody awful! The only Peckinpah movie I would never watch again. If you're going to base a movie on a song, at least pick a decent fucking song!!! Makes Smokey and the Bandit look like Citizen Kane.

Great Truck-Driving movie from the 70's with a great theme song. Without the song, it would be a very bad movie. The movie didn't have enough of the song at each plot development. It gets bogged down near the end with politics. The characters are fun but not very memorable; I did...( read more)

gotta respect the black mack but as usual i dont think they,d blow a truck up with a tank like they did in the end of this one. ....just remember it all started noon on the 7th of june with the highball over the pass......

The movie is good, but Ali MacGraw looks like a 10 year-old Puerto Rican boy.

It was Arizona, noon on the 7th of June..... "Rubber Duck" a trucker runs afoul into the Law. He and his trucker friends, run from the Law, and attract many other disgruntled truckers as they attempt to drive across the Stateline.
