I think of this as my own private Robert Altman masterpiece, since I know of about three people who have seen it. The story is simple and amazing. Glenn Close gives the performance of her career, and the rest of the cast is equally as strong. What Altman did so wrong in 'Gosford Park' in the way of a whodunnit, he did beautifully here.
Het eeuwige gekijf over een erfenis, waarvoor elke leugen geoorloofd is, over doorgeslagen christendom en 'eerlijk duurt het langst' (1 september 1999).
One of those quirky little gems that you find by wondering through the video store aimlessly or some tells you to watch it. A must see. Hell I bought it.
Another small gem from Altman. Involving a small town murder and the family of the late departed. The cast since bright. Their is not much of a story here that u havent already heard. But Altman brings it together nicely and enjoyable all the way
