Critic Reviews

  • Dennis Harvey, Variety

    Beneath late-night cable standards.

  • Steve Biodrowski, ESplatter

A laudable attempt at atmosphere and a handful of creepy moments are not enough to redeem this muddled mess.

  • Brian Tallerico, The Deadbolt

Somewhat mesmerizing in its ineptitude. The dialogue is cliched, no one thought out the actual plot, and the filmmaking is laughable.

  • Dustin Putman, DustinPutman.com

Doesn't quite have what it takes to be low-key and reserved and still hold more than cursory interest.

Capable cast in a predictable, mildly creepy story with an abrupt and unsatisfying finale. Noteworthy for how Traci Lords holds her own against the rest of the cast.

The rare horror flick in which the screenwriter is actually better than the plot, but it doesn't save the movie from a few typical horror movie downfalls like splitting up. The movie creates a great feeling of being trapped, but the lack of more supernatural creatures than just… More

This is seriously the most bizarre movie I've seen in a long time, in that a) it makes no sense and b) whoever edited it was clearly living through some sort of traumatic ether dream. Definitely the worst of the After Dark movies thus far, though pretty amusing.
