The trouble begins when unemployed actor Bobby is hired to play a serial killer on a crime reenactment television series. Wanting to fully understand the killer's motivations, Bobby begins researching the crimes and even gets helpful police officers to furnish the grisly details of recent murders. By the show's taping, Bobby has become an expert. A tough one to rate - this is a slow paced Serial Killer film, which perhaps comes from quite an original angle, in parts the acting is terrible and the film feels much older than it actually is and yet there was something that just about held me until the end. Pete Postlewaite's character became more interesting toward the end and that may have been the reason why, Stephen Baldwin, was, hmmm, interesting, quite weird, but not in a good way.
