I think this one is the only sequel that i like at least as much as the first one. Twisted and mind-braker. Cult!

Not as good as the first but its not as bad as critics say. It's slightly more spooky with screams of people dying in a distorted dimension and a good death scene involving a razor sphere.

A really bad sequel, this is not like the original, Cube 2 is one of the boriest films I have ever seen, the characters are not as interesting as the original.

    This is CRAP!!!

Interesting concept (if you're a sci-fi geek or physics student). The budget has been squared for sure. The coolness has been square-rooted.

Pretty rubbish... it was an interesting idea and could have been much better but as it was, it never really went anywhere...

Nothing really stands together in here. They thought it could be cool, but it's ultraconfusing and never gets anywhere, in my personal opinion.
There may be people willing to do a very close analysis on this, but i'm not one of those. I watch a movie in order to enjoy it, not for making researches about 4 dimensional universes when the movie ends.

Cube being the best of the trilogy, Hypercube could never get the same rating, but it was an amazing film, with even more ingenious traps.

A stylish and cool, but very dumb and cliched sequel. Gets boring at times and is very predictable. A fun thing to watch though...

worth watching but in my opinion they should have just left it with cube i felt a sequel was not warranted on this occasion

I've never even heard of the Cube 1 - Let's See If Anyone Is Dumb Enough to Watch This Flick and If So We can Make a Lame Sequel.

Load of nonsense. The first film was fantastic and original, this is just bad sci-fi with dodgy CGI effects

Yeah, ok... Fun, but is not much more than a copy of the first with good efects and it lacks the psicological deepness of the original

Cube 2 - Hypercube runs dangerously close to revealing too much about the beautifully abstract cube... and also blows on almost every level.

These was a very Confusing and unnecessary sequel trying to cash in on the success of 'the Cube' by giving it a "conspiracy theory" spin (meaning: an excuse for bad acting, black suits and sunglasses).

Confusing and unnecessary sequel trying to cash in on the success of 'the Cube' by giving it a "conspiracy theory" spin (meaning: an excuse for bad acting, black suits and sunglasses). Although 'the Cube' was a very simple and low-budget film shot entirely indoors, it compensated by being imaginative and a sound math flick. 'Cube 2,' on the other hand, is just rubbish with a bit higher budget.

Hypercube may become a guilty pleasure of mine. For those fascinated with the first flick or generally interested in quantum physics fiction, Hypercube is a decent followup. The cast all act well, and the new "spin" on the Cube (that it is a space in which the '4th dimension' is at the center of all the traps). The plot has all the necessary twists this type of flick requires without becoming cliche. My biggest complaint is the design choices. I simply don't like the white cube, but if they are going with that, they should have done some artful things with blood against that canvas, but the Cube remains immaculate during any bloodshed moments. Some of the traps are theoretically interesting (again if you like quantum mechanics) but they are not at all horrific. The Cube kills are computed generated effects that appear poor, and the CGI blood is even more annoying. All complaints considered, I still like this flick because of its plot edge and good ensemble acting.

dis one was really good. i had just finished reading a book about parallel universes, alternate realities and other dimensions. da book was mind boggling like da movie. some of the tings mentioned in the book were in da movie. the whole ting was a trip.

Not as good as the first film, it does have some interesting and horrific moments. Less possible-seeming than Cube.

A good way to spend a lazy afternoon when there is nothing on. ON DEMAND rated it as TVMA although I don't know why. There was hardly any gore.

This was pretty good but the ending was a bit dissapointing, but still really good if you're into math and what not.

This was a very weird and strange movie, but I liked it. The whole hypercube thing was so weird. I saw this movie on FEARnet On Demand..hated that old lady, lol. I sure wish they would put Cube On Demand, cuz all they have is Cube 2 and Cube Zero, can't wait to watch Cube Zero.
