Sporting such gadgets as an "eye tap" which relays exactly what he sees to a webcam and a backpack that constantly keeps him on-line, Mann argues that technology can be used to reclaim our public and private space from the ever-encroaching big brother. Mann is seen passionately arguing over the ethical, political and technological ramifications of his invention to a consistently skeptical public. Lynch also interviews Mann's family and colleagues and famed cyberpunk author William Gibson. This film was screened at the 2001 Toronto Film Festival. ~ Jonathan Crow, Rovi
