starring Angelina Jolie, Elias Koteas, Billy DragoAfter taking the virginity of half the guys in her school, Angelina Jolie began her acting career with this sequel to a Jean-Claude Van Damme flick that, you will have guessed, never made history.Cyborg 2 has all the same old sci-fi themes you can get with robots and cyborg, pretty much the same as in Blade Runner, and if you are a sci-fi buff you will no how interesting it can be, but it needs to be well done and here its not. Well, the filmmalkers never pretended to be making a good films, they simply wanted to see miss Jolie naked, cause yes, she does take her clothes off, as she did in many films following this one.
Okay, yeah I should apologize for having seen this film, it was on TV and I was on the computer and couldnt reach the remote control so I let it play until the end, well I think.
It tries to be too philosophical and the action is boring. The plot is confusing and trying to refer to the first Van Damme film - we even get a peek at his muscles in flashbacks - but its just a straith-to-video film that is harmless. Jolie wasnt a really a good actress yet.

This rating is for Cyborg Cop II, but apparently Flixter doesn't have this movie.
It received a 1 and 1/4 star our of 5 on IMDB. -

Oh yeah seen this one to. Don't recall a movie yet that I have not seen with Anfelina Jolie in it. This woman kicks ass !!!!

This is my first-time Angelina Jolie movie in this sequel's ripoff of Max Headroom and Blade Runner. It has few fights are at least watchable, and it features Karen Shepard and that over-acting weirdo Billy Drago as the villain.

i didn't stay long for the half of it but i did discern that the special effects was crap (given it was then the early 90's) and Angelina's has a real skinny bootee! maybe if now they'll do a Cyborg 3, Angelina can butch it up again after her stint rehearsing as big-bad Lara Craft, Tomb Raider and do something better than this shyt. i'm very sure this 21st century technology can offer much more now.

Really lousy movie...! Avoid! =) Thought it would be cool.. cyborgs you know.. =P From 93'.. so hey.. watched it 2007 so I maybe expected more FX's... =P Not worth watching!!!

I guess the only reason to sit through this is to see a young Angelina Jolie naked. Even that isn't a good enough reason to sit through this. Makes the first Cyborg movie look like an action movie masterpiece.

MCT:June 18, 2006I think it's safe to say that Sci-Fi is my favorite genre and I think this movie was just awful. It had some cool things here and there, but overall was not very good. The only reason I can see to sit through this movie is to see the beautiful Angelina Jolie (she looks incredible in this film!)!!! The rest of the cast was ok, but definitely nothing special. I did enjoy seeing Sven-Ole Thorsen in the film though (from "Gladiator" and a good amount of Arnold Schwarzenegger films).
