Now, here's a good cinematic lesson: sometimes you shouldn't really try to do so much stuff at the same time, which is the problem here. It's a shame really, because when the movie is not busy trying to be 5 different genres at the same time, and just goes straight for the action, is a lot of fun. There's also some jokes that are either too local or just made sense to the director, Ryu Seung Wan.
Everybody seems to be playing this for laughs, but it gets confusing when the movie looks so damn good and has such high production values. Maybe if this was trying to be less a spoof of the spy genre and just be...well, a straight spy flick, it would work. That said, very well done one armed swordsman homage. Oh, and Ryu's brother just steals the whole movie with his role of a sleazy no-good thief. There's also some really cute korean girls, so it's not a total waste, but like "The Good The Bad and The Weird" you can't help to lamment all the wasted potential.
