Three people, one blind, one mentally challenged and one physically challenged with cerebral palsy who become friends.and follow their dreams to see again, open a restaurant and wn a bookstore respectively. An odd little film, very heavy handed on the cliches and schmaltz but resiliantly optimistic like its main character Fat Cat, breezily insenstive to how others might see him. This is PC film-making chinese-style, making you half enjoy it and half wonder if you should be enjoying it.
