Rusty wanders through his life, happily finding hi...( read more  read more... )mself in the middle of trouble with the only person he can relate to, his best friend, Dallas. Without the understanding of Rusty’s mother, the only adult figure in either of their lives, Rusty and Dallas would never get out of their jail cells. For sanity’s sake, Mary employs her therapist boyfriend, Bob, to help set Rusty on the right path. As Rusty and Bob forge a genuine relationship, Rusty begins to embrace the life and death of his father, a rodeo star, allowing him to make bold decisions about his future that lead to new possibilities in the lives of all three. While Rusty finds small doses of clarity and direction, Dallas chooses a darker road to a more meaningful and higher status. When the time comes to begin their journeys, their friendship is pushed to the brink and they are both forced to make decisions that will change their lives forever.

Interesting and funny movie. I loved how laid-back and casual the characters were. And it didn't hurt that I got to stare at Jeff Goldblum and Scott Caan shirtless =)

One of the worst, most annoying movies I have ever seen. Must have been made for the brain damaged.

Scott Cann is a alright director. Could work a bit on the writing. There was one scene at the begining with a woman in the dinner that has nothing to do with the story what so ever. The cast in this is great! Not a bad job Scott.

i didn't really care about any of the characters. the jewish kid was more annoying than funny. i laughed when freddy rodriguez was slinking up to the car, but didn't think twice about anything he said. scott caan pulls off the nothing-to-lose-bad-boy thing. this should have been ...( read more)a short story, not a film.

not bad. Shawn Hatosy (the guy from outside providence) is annoying because all he does is whine throughout the movie. Caan's character is the best and the Jewish guy (apart from the joke about a Jewish guy named Christian) was just too hyper and annoying. Caan wrote and direc...( read more)ted, and at times, it shows. There are quite a few pointless stories within and a few pointless shots and speeed changes.
