Goes back to the days of the first "Batman" movie in 1989, when comic book movies were extremely brooding and dark. It's far too grim for younger audiences, everyone else will enjoy it.

Kingpin: And how did you get past my security?
Bullseye: Oh, you mean that guy?

Kingpin: Was that really necessary?

This is a cookie-cutter superhero story. Good guy has extra senses and has been wronged in the past when bad guys kill his father. Cookie-cutter movies need a love interest, and in this movie it is Jennifer Garner as Electra.
I actually liked the movie, but the story is pret...( read more) -

Daredevil is one of the most interesting characters in the comic genre. He's a dark character who suffers from a broken heart and deadly nemesis'. But all that makes the Daredevil comic a great piece of entertainment is not in this movie...

I'll wait until you finish ranting. Now? Can we? OK. Who didn't love Bullseye? The movie is awesome, I don't know why its so punished. Damn 'Elektra' movie.
Critic Reviews
One of the biggest misfires in its genre since Godzilla. full review
Daredevil isn't laugh-out -loud lousy, it's something worse: deeply, depressingly average. full review
After sundry Batmans and last summer's Spider-Man, the comic-book formula of childhood loss, filial revenge, and freakish physical prowess doesn't seem all that fresh anymore. full review

September 12, 2006If you haven't seen it, i highly recomend checking out the Director's Cut of the movie. The entire plot changes, the story changes, the love scene is removed, it's a darker movie that in the end is much more satisfying and it does what they say it does. It gives "The Devil His Due".
