"At the End of the Road... The Nightmare Begins"

A couple en route from Las Vegas are forced to deal with a body out in the desert making their honeymoon one hellish ride.

    REVIEW

Thomas Jane di...( read more)rects a film that shows more promise than actual success. Its a Noirish tale about a honeymooning couple who who accidentally run over a man staggering in the desert, stop to help him only to have everything go horribly wrong when the man turns on them. From that point on it's a descent into hell as things get complicated on every level.

Give Thomas Jane points for making a good looking film. Give him a few more for getting some really good performances from all the actors. Unfortunately he looses a few for making an often tedious film. The pace of the film is often so slow that the film would cause you to nod off if you didn't want to know what happens. I don't know if the conclusion was worth the ride, but it kept me watching. That's about all I can say.

Worth a look, but I'd wait for cable.

OMG what a waste of the 25 mins I could watch this movie. Waste of $1 to rent! This movie sucks!!

Not bad at all but not something I'd watch again

The beginning seemed like a blatant rip-off of Rodriguez's Sin City. The film gets better in the second half once the paranoia sets in, but the storyline was pretty predictable once you caught on to the swing of things. I liked the twilight zone feel about this, though it's defin...( read more)itely more of a dude's film.

Promising thriller that got a few yawns and the ending didn't make sense...i don't think it was suppose to...leaving us hanging but ultimately not caring anyway.

Suspenseful and stylish, very eerie desert setting. Decent performances, effective score, downright creepy at times. Good cinematography. I admire the effort and Thomas Jane's direction is rather interesting. I can't say I cared for the conclusion.

well, what can I say? I had to FF in the beginning because I wanted to avoid the "soft porn", then it got better, very thrilling..but after a few scenes it just went down hill all the way to the end..boring and weird and I didn't even understand the ending..

This was a really well directed film. The lighting throughout the film was amazing!
