November 19, 2009An oddity. A noir musical, with a good amount of the numbers on the stage of the club, and then a musical in the same vein as American Graffiti. June 28, 2009The film is so obsessed with style and atmosphere, it forgot to add a good story and characters with depth. It did try for believable period detail, but failed for the most part. Great music at least.
