Plot:
I can watch this movie over and over again and never tire of it. It's definitely one of my favorite films.
Its okay....but its been done to death. The book will always be better....I should be sho for that but still...
This film keeps up the brilliant plot throughout with a series of twists and turns. The sheer scope and variation is compelling.
Before he became famous as "Harry Potter", Daniel Radcliffe plays an adorable young David Copperfield. Along with Maggie Smith and some other great actors David Copperfield jumped from the pages of Charles Dicken's book and came to life. I thoroughly enjoyed Masterpiece Theatre's adaption of "David Copperfield"
hmmm... coincidence that we have a very young harry potter in a movie aptly named "david copperfield"?
My brother and I watched this and really liked it.
Even if you are not a Dickens fan by nature, 'give this film a try. It's really funny (I think Maggie Smith delivers the best lines ever ;)), and little Dan is so unbelievably adorable!
"Masterpiece Theatre" This two part series movie was wonderful the story was put so well, kept me interested to the end. Highly recommended. Dickens' important themes were translated well, such as the exploitation of child labor, objectification of women, corrupt schoolmasters and schoolhouses. Daniel Radcliffe does well. Maggie Smith and Daniel Radcliffe goes on to the Harry Potter movies
I actually saw this when I was little during a "Masterpiece Theatre" thing my mom was watching, and didn't really think the boy (Daniel Radcliffe) was TOO cute. I've since changed my opinion.
Didn't see it all but just enough to leave a good impression. Definitely looking forward to seeing it all.
I rated 3.5 & Can't fulfill the comments yet cuz i kind of forgotten abt the movie... But i did watch it before... i read the book though... it was tremendous...
