Critic Reviews

  • Tim Brayton, Antagony & Ecstasy

The most impressive short-form piece that Pixar has put out - no small bit of praise for the studio behind Luxo Jr. and Geri's Game.

  • Felix Vasquez Jr., Cinema Crazed

A short morality tale for the children about how we can accept and learn to love each other for our differences and embrace the new and the unique...

  • Rob Humanick, Projection Booth

A morally and politically charged look at our perception of reality (and each other).

Very funny short animated movie...!!! Can be found before 'Toy Story 3'...

This year's Pixar entry. Interesting concept. Surprised that Pixar went the more 2-D route. I enjoyed the use of sound effects as the only means of communication for Day and Night.

Fantastic animation highlight this incredibly creative and innovative Pixar short. It's difficult to stand out in the world as animation today but this stunning film is some of the best work I've even seen. It was phenomenal in 3D before Toy Story 3.
