Formulaic and without teeth, this is a knock-off of I Know What You Did Last Summer that has fewer teeth than the original.

So at first glance this totally reminded me of the "I know what you did last summer" series and then it all came together and it made sense. Actually this was pretty well done and we really should the Europeans more credit for film making. The young cast was great and I enjoyed t...( read more)his very much.

Some pretty cool kill scenes kept this movie away from a 3 star rating but overall its the same story thats been seen in films like i know what you did last summer worth taken a look at as a one time watch.

¨I Know What you Did Last Summer IN AUSTRIA¨ has a tense and promising beginning. The acting of the cast is good, but unfortunately the story is weak, actually a rip-off of the franchise "IKWYDLS" and using the clichés of the genre.
In the end, this flick is watchable and forget...( read more)table.

Un film qui revolutionne en rien le genre et qui commet pleins de non sens mais qui suffisamment distrayant pour etre regarde et digere rapidement.

Not bad but I just watched 5 movies that came out this week with the same snow story line, what the heck!

This was not as bad of a movie than what I expected even though it was a subtitled German film which I didn't know when I started it but overall it a pretty descent low budget scary movie. It kind of reminded me of the "I Know what you did last Summer" movies. I give it 3 stars***.

Dead in three days was not what I thought it was going to be at all. I read reviews saying that it was a better version of I know what you Did Last Summer and that it was a great who-done-it mystery movie but personally I didn't see it. While yes the first five minutes had some s...( read more)imilarities with "I Know What You Did Last Summer" the film as a whole was not even on the same playing field. So the plot is based around five friends who each receive this text message that tells them they will die in 3 days. They take it as a prank and decide to ignore the message, until one of them goes missing and then is found drowned. It's up to the remaining friends to figure out the mystery behind the mysterious message and figure out who is after them and why before it's too late. The plot needed some work I knew what was going to happen basically the whole time, they had one fantastic chance to surprise you and give you something that you were not expecting and threw it out the window. (After you watch the movie you'll know what I mean). And the ending, they were trying to make it this big noteworthy ending but failed miserably. Also there were some very slow moments that were very easy to look away from. The acting was pretty good a few of the lead characters gave pretty solid performances. I just wish that Sabrina Reiter would have taken out her lip piercing for just one scene it was driving me nuts. The gore was nothing new but you do get a few good shots of a throat being slashed, a metal rod through the abdomen, and a pretty wicked decapitation/drowning scene other than that its just mild blood splatter. I did not like the soundtrack that they used at all when the movie required moody music they gave you teen pop with lyrics I honestly don't know what they were thinking. I also would have done something different with the poster, both the original poster from Austria and the American poster sucked. Bottom line the makers of Dead in Three Days had plenty of chances to make a memorable slasher movie but flooded them all. Leaving us with a mediocre slasher flick with no real plot. I say it's worth a check if you have nothing better to do but don't expect anything new.

hmmm good one regardless the lack of innovation...the plot is pretty lame though but i guess it's an 'ok' horror movie

Yet another tired rehash on the old Prom Night/I Know What You Did Last Summer formula. A group of kids cause the death of a friend and years later someone starts knocking them off. Yep, that's about it. No real surprises or originality to hold your attention. Thankfully w...( read more)hat the movie lacks in story it makes up for in direction and performances. Dead In 3 Days is easily one of the best directed and most stylish horror films I've seen in recent years. And the actors all do good jobs with their cardboard characters and actually look the age of the characters they're portraying. A rare thing in horror films these days. I wanted to like this movie more than I actually did just because it was so great to look at, but the lack of any originality or gore makes Dead In 3 Days just an okay movie.
