I can't believe it took me over 20 years to see this Wes Craven movie but I finally rented it. Wish I would have watched it back then because now it just seemed too cheesy. The story line was ok but, hey if you're a Wes Craven fan then you should at least see it once. ...but don't say I didn't warn you. :)
A little cheesy, but fun. Have always enjoyed this one. And the basketball scene still looks good after all these years.
good movie i remember watching it many times when i was young so its kinda stuck with me and even though im older i just cant bring myself to hate it lol even though i know its not one of craven's better ones
God, Wes Craven sucks. Not even a head being thrown against a wall and smashing like a ripe melon can save this turd. You suck Craven!
So campy and has one of the most over the top scenes in any movie ever. Fun times with friends having a marthoin of awesomely bad flicks
This is the worst movie I have ever seen. Ever. The plot was laughable, and the scene where a woman's head explodes because it was hit by a basketball? Ridiculous. There might possibly be some camp value in the whole thing, but really... it was terrible. Zero stars.
Very much part of the Frankenstein-genre, this Wes Craven effort is often strangely touching and almost sickly compared with his usual fare.
Classic 80's teen horror flick. In this movie Matthew Laborteaux plays a boy genius who implants his disabled robot's circuit board into the head of his dead girlfriend played by Kristy Swanson. The girl is reanimated but with the dangerous and vengeful persona of the robot sending her on a killing spree.
Wes Craven sure does know how to make intersting films. An underrated 1986 horror film. A young teen, who is a genius, saves the life of a girl who's abusive father kills her and then goes out for her revenge. This movie rocks!
i found it!!! ive been searching for this movie for a long time. it traumatized me when i was younger.. i'm sure it's not that disturbing anymore...but I FOUND IT!
saw it in '86 in downtown Auckland with my buddy Faleika at the "Westend"?which I hear is closed now along with the other two movie theaters that were next to the w/end
Not a total gore-fest but pretty all right teen puppy lover horror flcik in which boy genius ("Albert" from LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRARIE) reserrects his lady love (Kristy Swanson) using robot parts and micro-chips after she accidentally dies.
Love Anne Ramsey (THROW MOMMA FROM THE TRAIN) as the neighborhood bitch who gets hers with a basketball to the head. Awesome!
