Back in the mid 80's, i rented stuff like DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR by the truckload. For whatever reason, i never got around to this flick even though i did want to see it. Well 20 plus years later i find a shabby VHS copy for 99cents - you know i'm all over that. Was it worth the wait??? Well i'll say that if it is on say SPIKE TV and you are bored and lazy, give er' a run. Some nice power drill fun and shotgun action....and Fred fires a rocket launcher WHILE DRIVING HIS JEEP IN A HIGH SPEED CHASE.....shit, it's a harmless 90 minutes. Fred Dryer is no Chuck Norris though.....

Former footballer Fred Dyer, fresh from the success of his TV show "Hunter", makes his bid for low-budget action star with this patriot tale of American soldiers fighting terrorists in a far-off Middle East country.

While the movie is quite serviceable (as is Dryer) and there's a few okay scenes of action, it's scripted in a way that focuses on too much plot and not enough gunfire which makes it more dull than it should've been for this type of movie.
