The first film from interesting director Norrington was ripped to shreds in the US and that is the version on display here. It's not a great film, even in its uncut form, but it's allright and Brad Dourif is good as always. This cut version is barely comprehensile, however.

Brad dourif does love his strange dark and grotesque films. Basically he's invented a robot version of an "Alien" which seems to be programmed nearer to a terminator. Lots of running and blood splatter they dont make gore look like this anymore
