January 20, 2008I'm man enough to admit that this is one of my most beloved god-awful movies I've ever seen. The acting is star trek even Shatner could do better bad. June 24, 2009What happens when you take a sci fi movie and give it a nice budget? You get "Deep Blue Sea"...its horribly acted, corny, and all around dumb. But hell if you are in the mood for mindless entertatinment its a good stop.

May 12, 2009An excellent thriller/horror with awful sharks.
Apart Samuel L. Jackson (who sadly die too fast in the movie), the casting is pretty disapointing in my opinion.
The sharks are very impressive, dangerous, and so, make very good monsters, enemies for the characters.

March 13, 2009A fun movie. It's well-paced, has some thrills, and may keep you guessing. It's certainly no classic, and you won't remember much the next day after seeing it, but you could do much worse for a night of movie-watching.
