The movie had it's moments and a great twist at the end, but it seemed like the movie was too short for 90 minutes so they decided to fill in the immense gaps with Lucas Black shirtless. Mr. Black does have some very raw sexuality mixed with his accent but the movie was just too slow and did little to build suspense. Lesley Ann Warren was seriously under-utilized in this movie and her comedic talents absolutely wasted.
Lucas Black(Starred in Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift) is the center of attention in this very interestingly strange movie about a guy that has no money and he is recovering from a terrible accident. He eventually takes on a job in a small town from a wild and eccentric motel owner . This young drifter finds himself in a dangerous world but it is where nothing as it seems. This movie came out in 2005 so you should be able to catch it on DVD or on your local cable/satellite. You will like this one!
this movie was filmed in clearwater bc canada where i used to live.Was kinda cool seein all the people around and lot,s of friends of mine are extras in the movie or worked on the set.
Again, I go against the grain with most others. This time I rate this higher. Why? Because it is mysterious until the end. Yes, Lucas Black type casts his TV role as Caleb from the American Gothic TV series 10 years ago. Still, it is a good mystery.
