ryan reynoolds is never ever supposed to be in anything other than a comedic role. oh and im PISSED this was made by the people who made love actually and this cant even hold a candle to it. blah.
When I saw the preview for this all I could think was "this look really cute!".But,half way through the movie I turned this movie off because it got incredibly boring. If you want to be incredibly bored then rent this movie,if not don't bother!!!!
Typical romantic comedy, which has an original storyline. Good casting and acting. Very entertaining and enjoyed it a lot. Not very predictable, but then again the end is also not very likely. Recommendable.
Coming from someone who will only watch a romantic comedy when a gun is to his head, let me just say that this was surprisingly funny and really heartfelt.
Had been wanting to see this one since I saw commericals. I think it was very cute & well written for a romantic comedy. I also loved how the lead was a guy instead of a girl. Not just a guy, but a father!
I love Ryan Reynolds & I love to see how his acting improves & how well he did at a deeper role than the normal "Van Wilder". I loved the whole mystery behind it too. Breslin seemed so much more grown up in this role, which I enjoyed.
Perfect watch! And the ending was even better! I was a little worried for awhile, but was so happy he ended up with the right choice after it was all said & done!!
I am a massive chick flick fan and Definatly, Maybe ticked every box there was. A great romantic comedy that leaves you guessing all the way, some good performances from all mains stars and a good story with equally good script. Ryan Reynolds shows he is a leading man for sure and Abigail Breslin adds another hit to her list.
usually i'm only into 'guy' films with lots of action. or else stuff with lots of thinking. the only reason i watched this was on the recommendation of my bf, and it felt like SUCH a mirror of my experiences in love and life... that's the only reason i enjoyed it so much. i liked ryan in 2 guys and a girl too
Quite the entertaining Romcom whodunit. I love Ryan Reynolds and he is terribly under appreciated. I was really entertained by Adam Brooks' style of directing, the fact that he wrote the script helps things too. The three female leads and Abigail Breslin are all great, but what I enjoyed the most was the quality of the supporting cast. Comedian Adam Ferrara and Derek Luke added a great dynamic to a story about the people who affect one person's life
What's that little girls name - she has no charm as a child actor I want to know who is pushing her through hollywood. It was a sleeper. I got tired of the story and could care less by the time she found her real mom. Ok, I know this all sounds insensitive but I paid a dollar to rent this and I want it back!
Not bad, and yet not really memorable. Reynolds is as miscast as Oscar nominee Abigail B.-- its a movie that could have succeeded no matter who the director was or which actors were involved.
A great film, 100% better than expected. Ryan Reynolds character is great. The film follows the life of Ryans character with his previous relationships, and figuring out who he ends up with n the way. The film is jsut Ryan tellimg his daughter about his lfe before, during and after he met her mum. Sounds like a weak story line but trust me is not a film to be missed!
Definitely, Maybe; is a sweet movie. A romantic film that is current showing a father going through a divorce. One night sitting down with his young daughter tells her a story of three women that were in his life and she tries to fgure out who her mother is in it. During the story she finds that her father through good and bad choices has come full circle and is ready for love...does he know who his love is and could it be one of the three ladies??? Abigail Breslin, Ryan Reynolds, and Isla Fisher are very good in this film.
