Director Richard Thorpe did his usual competent job in this otherwise routine silent Western featuring the tight-lipped Wally Wales. This time around, Wales plays a drifter who, having shot a man in self-defense, flees to Mexico. He falls for a young Mexican girl (Dolores Wolfe), the daughter of a cantina proprietor, who is about to marry a vicious "half-breed" against her will.
