Dhoom 1 wasn't a great movie but was refreshing and different! Dhoom 2..it's bigger, glossier and gets skimpier! Not just in terms of the clothes women wear, but also in terms of the script..if there is any! It's obvious that Mr Ghandvi lost focus, with all the star cast, glamour and money to splurge on the look. No doubt that the look was Super cool or flashy, locales breath taking, but if that is all that you are looking for then Dhoom 2 is for you!
Best Bollywood action movie I have seen so far. Very funny stunts; rollarblading away from a robbery and being chased by a helicopter. Great dance scenes too.
too cheesy! god, i swear! they try to make it all modern, copying from western movie.. why keep doing that! and, see the reaction, wow such a good movie??!! my eyes wanna drop out when people say that :P
It's an Asian film? fuck no i cannot be bothered wasting my time on something that a foreign peasant has though up in minutes. Singing and dancing and talking absolute rubbish, well trying to sing and look nice but they are all ugly. Get fucked Sanjay, horrible name for stupid people
Now being English I'm not really a fan of Asian films. All the singing and dancing I find is unnatural for some films that Bollywood makes. However though this film totally blew me away. I loved it. Yes it's Asian but it totally captivated me as soon as i started watching it. The film i would describe this film is Bad Boys meets XXX meets Fast and Furious. This one I could look past the dancing and singing scenes to the core of the picture, balls to the wall action, great chase scenes and it looks like a hindu bond movie. Some of the songs were very catchy. I actually found myself singing along to Dhoom again after the film had finished. The action in this easily puts Hollywood to shame as it contains some of the most breathtaking stunts that easily rival anything what Hollywood could do. Don't let the fact that if you are british that this film is in Hindu, some of it is in english too especially the title song Dhoom Again sung by Hrithik Roshan who also plays the chief badguy in this film. Added to the movie is a good comedy turn by Uday who had me in stitches during the first scene and pretty much during the rest of the movie. All in all Dhoom 2 is great entertainment. If you can get past the Hindu language then you' will be in for a good time.
"everybody together Dhoom Machale, Dhoom machale, Dhoom Again, Dhooommmm."
Hmmm. It WAS somewhat better than the first movie. Although, Aishwarya didn't seem to be the right person for her role. And most of the actors acted poorly. The soundtrack wasn't that great, either.
i actually like this film, saw it last night stayed up late to watch it and i'm glad i did. its kinda cheesey but what the heck, the main actors are great and can really sing and dance, its interesting and an okay plot to it. and that hrithik roshnan is fine, lol. its kinda funny, bit of action, lots of dancing and music and dramatics in it and i love it.
The action scene of D:2 is awesome and Hrithik Roshan is simply gr8. And some action scene is makes revolution in action scene making industry in bollywood. This movie is actually hit only for Hrithik Roshan. At the last what trick played by Aishwarya Rai to save Hrithik from that ass kisser police inspector Abhishek Bachchan.
Imagine a Hollywood action film, but then amp up the cheese factor and add musical numbers. Essentially, that is what this film is. Two Mumbai police officersfind themselves on the trail of an International Super-Thief known only by the symbol he always leaves behind, "A." The fact that A is a master of disguise leads to such classic scenes as him pulling off a jewel heist at a museum by disguising himself as a statue! A quickly outsmarts our heroic detectives, but he suddenly has to contend with another thief pretending to be him. This turns out to be Aishwarya Rai and understandably A finds himself drawn to her, even if she seems to be a bit of an airhead. Quickly he agrees to make her his apprentice, but who is she really working for? This film has over-the-top action scenes, random explosions, motorcycle chases, silly musical numbers, and even the annoying comical sidekick. Calling it an actually "good" film might be a stretch, but damn it's fun and a lot more enjoyable than many Hollywood blockbusters.
The combination of action and dancing is seriously awesome!!! The dance moves were awesomely done and Hrithik Roshan is so damn hot! Made it a worthwhile watch! :D
I'm shocked by this film's low ratings elsewhere. Okay, a thinking (wo)man's film this ain't, and anyone looking to it for that needs their head checked; but man, agar zara dhoom machaana ho, it's pretty unbeatable. Pure fun, pure eye candy, and purely guilty pleasure.
No where near the first one. The stunts are somewhat funny. The ramance that was introduced really spoiled the movie. I really missed John Abraham in this movie.
REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! one of my favorite indian ones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and i hate indian movies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well most of them!
brilliant film from bollywood with a great cast a great storyline
with ail now a police officer and dixit parter them must began to solve and catch the internation jewel theft now as Mr X with great song and great shots of mubial and Rio this is a great film which recommended for fans of the oragnel
I never thought I'd find myself saying this, but it was better than Bond - arguably even the venerable "Goldfinger" - and I only saw half of the movie!
