MCT:May 15, 2008well this film gets a50/50 review. so this is how it works i'm giving 2.5 out of 2.5 for the brilliant zombies and other such romero trates and 0 out of 2.5 for the crap script and shitty acting. some great idea's in this especially the phoned in roles see cast list.

MCT:May 14, 2008I think this film can mark the death of Romero's film career. A great idea gives us utter crap. A few good zombie kills aside, there is nothing in this picture that can save it. Any bit of any social commentary is rammed home with the subtlety of prison rape. Not to mention the horrific acting and illogical camera work. Just flat out bad. I wonder how it feels for Romero to know that remakes of his old films are better than his new stuff.

MCT:May 13, 2008Not bad, but far from Romero's best. Zombies meet reality TV. This was released with very little fanfare, unlike "Land of the Dead". Sad to say, dragged at times and I had a hard time staying interested. Still better than the 10,000 other zombies films being released as of late though.

I don't know if it's the whole documentary feel or the SOV gimmick or the fact it's not anywhere as gory as his previous efforts but it just doesn't feel like a Romero film.
Because it's hard to totally dislike the film I think of it more as a brief rest stop before he re-kickstarts the next Dead cycle which hopefully will happen soon; but not before Diamond Dead which will hopefully happen sooner.

i'd seen the trailer..and i think this would be another one of george romero's best zombies film since the dawn of the dead and land of the dead..i think this would make you scream and jump on to ur seat!!lolz....hope to see this movie soon....another best film of george a romero..
