We begin with Nietzsche's arrival in Turin on April 7th, 1888. He disembarks at the railway station after an eventful journey; instead of boarding the right train, Nietzsche had ended up in Genoa. Following this initial upset, and once he had installed himself in his small room with his books, notebooks and a piano, Nietzsche spent his days writing, reading and walking.
