Critic Reviews

  • Brian Holcomb, CinemaBlend.com

Outside of surface details involving flesh eating and body rot, these zombie stooges look more hung over than dead. This is really a sex comedy with a zombie theme.

  • Kevin Carr, 7M Pictures

As the flagship zom com film for the new age, Night of the Living Dorks is to geek love as "Animal House" was to frat boys.

  • David Cornelius, eFilmCritic.com

An obnoxious sex romp that knows just enough about the teen comedy genre to mimic it but not enough to make it worth revisiting, even with this zombie twist.

  • David Nusair, Reel Film Reviews

...unable to elicit either scares or laughs from the viewer...

  • Staci Layne Wilson, Horror.com

Night of the Living Dorks is a German spoof film on the zombie genre, and as the title warns, it is pretty dorky. Think: American Pie meets Dawn of the Dead.

Cute, juvenile zombie comedy that riffs on teenage angst films. All over the place in terms of jokes, but consistently amusing enough to keep watching.

'Die Nacht der lebenden Loser' is not a real Horror-Movie, rather a Horror-Comedy-Movie with more comedy in it than horror. It is a decent movie combining comedy with typical zombie images. It is not hilarious but it has some good funny moments. Very enjoyable!!!

Felt like it should've been made in the eighties, but an entertaining film nonetheless.
