Strangely successful blatant rip off of Pokemon is made into a movie where cell and digital animation never works together, and the story is ridiculous, if you're over 10. Harmless enough. Meh.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't like Digimon anymore. Not to mention, some of the most witty dialogue I've ever heard. This movie is great fun (hate the coloring of the characters).
This has to be the most awesome movie ever! I loved it! It got my blood pumping, and did I mention I loved it? The music is awesome and the show was awesome when I was a kid, but that doesn't matter because the movie is awesome!
Nice movie. I love the original version of the clips in this movie. I suggest you watch the Japanese version. I like when Angewomon evolve to Magnadramon and Holyangemon evolve to Seraphimon.
It's a pretty great movie. I love the original version of the clips in this movie. I suggest you watch the Japanese version. You will see no corny catch phrases added and names and terms altered in the American version.
I've seen this movie way back when I was a kid and the story is still clear in my head. I love the original version of the clips in this movie. What I don't like about this version is that the story had been Americanized. They have added lines and even edited parts of the movie that have not only changed the original persona of the characters but have also changed some minor parts of the story, simply for the movie to make sense to the American viewers of this film. I SUGGEST YOU WATCH THE JAPANESE VERSION. You will see no corny catch phrases added and names and terms altered in the American version.
Having been chopped up and given a different story line altogether...no...I just don't like that. It's why I definitely prefer the three Japanese movies that were crammed into this over the horrifying American one.
I gave it a try and this wasn't bad, I think what ruined it the most for me was that it was new characters, not the ones from the tv show that was on when the movie was introduced... o.O *cough* my younger sister was watching it.. *cough* not me
its my favorite cartoon , when i was 8 , i memorized digimon names.as i called ,,reza digimon,, now i still feel them ,i belive them they are alive, don,t laugh me.i love it,and i will love it i swear i feel them, they help me!!
An odd adaption to the tv series, but keeps the charaters and all intact, interesting style to the visuals. Great to see if you liked Digimon in the past or are just wondrering what all the hype was all about.
Any movie that is made up of three other existing movies rolled into one isn't all that great. Personally I love Digimon, but the movie wasn't what I was expecting at all. Not to mention the mediocre animation. In spite of all this I still watched it 4 times in theater
The Japanese version is good. The English... What the hell? They rearanged sections, rewrote unoffensive things... They were just plain being 4kids... I fav'ed this soley for the Jap version!
The first half, with the flashback of Tai and the others as little kids, the half-Digimon-half-computer-virus thing, and Wargreymon combining with Metalgarurumon was great. The second half with the other Digidestined? Not so great. It made me nostalgic, and I forgot just how neat the animation was.
